Dreamworks’ upcoming movie is launching complete with a cross platform Monsters vs. Aliens videogame. Players will take on Gallaxhar and his giant alien robots alternating between a team of wacky monsters to save the world.

Capcom has unveiled a new batch of Street Fighter IV screens that focus on some of the not-so-classic characters in the roster. You know, those characters that showed up sometime after the huge surge in Street Fighter popularity and just never lived up to the likes of Ryu or Chun-Li. Characters like Sakura, you’re typical ass-kicking schoolgirl (those apparently terrorize the streets of Japan). Or Dan, who’s a bit like Ryu and Ken only…different.

Building on the success of its social networking site, Gaia Online is taking a step into the MMO field by opening the zOMG! Beta to the public. ZOMG! is a free to play, flash-based so it doesn’t require downloading a client. The game combines social networking with community activities and streaming music.

Champions Online is offering up a special edition of its Ask Cryptic Q&A feature as design director Bill Roper steps up to field questions from the Champions Online Community. Roper covers queries on his personal background, experience and opinion as well as CO.

CD Projekt RED officially announced the coming of The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf to consoles. The original story is intact, but delivered via a brand new engine with dynamic action-based combat system. IGG has some Christmas Festivities in the works for Wonderland Online. Christmas Gift Boxes 1 is the first phase of holiday events and it passes the lesson of s/he who gives shall receive. Players that purchase a card worth at least 1000 points by December 10th will receive a Christmas Cap with 3,000 points on the December 16th maintenance run.
