I recommend this because i prefer these sounds over the ones that come with the game

Replacement soundpack for OPFOR weapons (1.2.x)


Install: put into AA/Sounds folder (backup the original, dohh)

Changes: AK indoor, RPK & SVD in- and outdoor shots sound

Background: Sounds for OPFOR are rather pathetic (and barely differ AK vs RPK). I can't stand it

Bugs: none of mine (see below) until they add new weapons for OPFOR (works fine for now 1.2.1)

ToDo: new UnrealED needed to change their bug in AGP_Inventory.u with SVD having sound of AK, and Mousin having sound of SVD (smart idea to give OPFOR rifle from 1930).
But I'm not going to do it coz I'm gonna give up AA soon (unfortunately it is not so realistic + not perfect gameplay. I've seen better Infiltration mod for UT years before).

For those who havent figured out how to use this:
(you will need to download winrar if you havent got it

download BOTH files, open the first part, you will get a message telling you select the 2nd part, click open, and select the second. The sound file will then be in the second unziped folder, replace the old sound file in the armyops/sound directory, with the new one (dont forget to backup the old just in case)

yo just for a lil realism info here... i kno that it can be a pain in the **** with the ak and rpk sounds but technicaly the ak47 and the rpk lmg are the same gun. the rpk just has a longer barrel to shoot farther and a drum round clip to store more ammo
